Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how eMabler Oy (“eMabler”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.emabler.com. It is part of our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.
It covers our public website only. It does not cover the eMabler product, customer portals or mobile apps, which have their own terms.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all, for example to remember that you have already made a cookie choice. Others collect information about how the site is used.
We also use two things that work like cookies but are stored differently:
- Browser local storage, where we keep your cookie choice and a small record of how you first arrived on the site.
- Scripts (tags) from analytics and advertising providers, which read and write the cookies listed below.
When we say “cookies” in this policy we mean all of these.
On their own, cookies do not identify you by name. Combined with other information, such as a form you submit, they can be linked to you. Where that happens we treat the data as personal data under our Privacy Policy.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies for four purposes, which match the four categories in our cookie banner:
| Category | What it does | On by default | Can you switch it off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keeps the site working, secure, and remembers your cookie choice | Yes | No |
| Functional | Remembers choices you make on the site, such as language | Yes | Yes |
| Analytics | Tells us how the site is used so we can improve it | Yes | Yes |
| Marketing | Measures whether our LinkedIn advertising brings people to the site and lets us show relevant ads on LinkedIn | No | Yes |

- Can you switch it off: No

- Marketing

Necessary, Functional and Analytics are on when you first visit. Marketing is off until you choose Accept in the cookie banner, or switch it on under Set Preferences. You can turn Functional, Analytics and Marketing off at any time: click Set Preferences in the banner, or Cookie Settings in the footer. When you turn a category off, the page reloads and the related scripts stop immediately. Your choice is stored in your browser and applies to future visits until you clear it or change it. If we change what a category is used for, we ask you again.
We use Analytics cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it, as described in section 4 of our Privacy Policy. You can object at any time by switching Analytics off. We use Marketing cookies only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by switching Marketing off.
Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand traffic and behavior across visitors. We do not sell it.
4. The cookies we use
Durations are the maximum lifetime set by the provider. “Session” means the cookie is deleted when you close the browser.

5. Who else receives the data
The analytics providers above process data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: policies.google.com/privacy
- Microsoft Clarity: privacy.microsoft.com
- HubSpot: legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
- LinkedIn: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
Google, Microsoft and HubSpot may store data on servers outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, as set out in each provider’s policy. LinkedIn may also process data in the United States, under the same safeguards. For the Insight Tag, LinkedIn uses the data both to provide its reporting to us and for its own purposes, as described in LinkedIn’s privacy policy. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies; it loads the Google Analytics, HubSpot and LinkedIn scripts and applies your consent choice to them.
6. Managing cookies
On this site: use Set Preferences in the cookie banner or Cookie Settings in the footer. Turning Analytics off stops Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot tracking from loading on the next page and deletes the first-touch record. Turning Marketing off stops the LinkedIn Insight Tag from loading.
In your browser: you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site, such as language selection and your saved cookie choice, from working. Instructions for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Google also provides a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on every site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this page when we add, remove or change cookies or providers. The date at the top shows the latest revision. When we change what a cookie category is used for, the cookie banner asks for your choice again.
